Charities Invited to Aurizon's Community Giving Fund
Local community groups and charities from across Australia can apply for cash grants of up to $20,000 through the latest round of Aurizon’s Community Giving Fund.
Andrew Harding, Managing Director & CEO of Australia’s largest rail-based transport business said Aurizon delivers much more than products and commodities.
“I am proud to say that since 2011, our Community Giving Fund has supported more than 240 charities and not-for-profits across the country in education, community safety, environment as well as health and wellbeing,” he said.
“We deliver hope and opportunity and are focused on engaging with the local communities where we live and work in more meaningful way. I strongly encourage local groups to take the time to go to our website and look at the criteria, and then submit an application.
“This funding continues to contribute to the success of local community projects and goes a long way towards improving the future of our communities. It’s great to see the previous recipients of our grants delivering such positive outcomes with their projects.”
Applications for the latest round of Aurizon’s Community Giving Fund are open until 5pm AEST Friday 28 April 2017.
