Meet Chris, a Corridor Access Adviser in Aurizon’s Commercial and Marketing team. He won our 2015 Customer Excellence Award for going above and beyond to meet his customers’ needs.
Following a career in logistic solutions and road transport, Chris joined Aurizon in 2011 as a Senior Analyst (Access). He has since taken on customer focused opportunities as Key Account Manager and Corridor Access Adviser working with a number of large mining organisations.
In his current role, Chris is responsible for supporting his customers by facilitating access to rail infrastructure to support Aurizon’s rail operations and to improve our customers supply chain efficiency.
“I really enjoy the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with our customers to achieve the best outcomes to meet their needs,” Chris said.
“My role entails working closely with the Aurizon Commercial and Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure commercial access related matters and performance are considered and understood in all decisions.
“I am proud to work with such a high calibre of colleagues who understand our customers are the heart of our business and strive to consistently meet our customers’ needs and deliver on what we promise.”
Chris was honoured to receive the Aurizon Customer Excellence Award in recognition of his hard work and dedication.
