Cat was appointed Group Executive Network in August 2025.

In her previous roles with Aurizon, she was Group Executive Corporate as well as Head of Safety, Health & Environment.

She has more than 20 years’ experience across a range of industries including transport and logistics, rail, construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, finance and government. Her work has taken her to the United Kingdom, across Europe and the USA and Australia.

Cat led the development of Aurizon’s Climate Strategy and Action Plan which includes a commitment to decarbonise Aurizon’s operational emissions by harnessing renewable energy for the locomotive fleet and electrified rail export infrastructure.

Cat completed a Bachelor of Environmental Management (Sustainable Development) with Honours at the University of Queensland.

She is also a Chief Executive Women Sustainability Scholar and has completed the General Management Program at the Cambridge Judge Business School.
