Undertaking

The Access Undertaking sets out the terms under which Aurizon Network provides access to the Central Queensland Coal Network. The Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) approved Aurizon Network's 2017 Access Undertaking (UT5) on 19 December 2019. For more information on the Access Undertaking, please see https://www.qca.org.au/project/aurizon-network/2017-access-undertaking-ut5/ut5-daau/

Line Diagrams

Aurizon Network continues to look for new ways to improve the timeliness and capability of our reporting. Our Rail Infrastructure Line Diagrams have received a transformation and are now available as an interactive live map.

The live map allows changes to the configuration and/or ownership of the Rail Infrastructure (as required by per Clause 3.22 of the 2017 Access Undertaking (UT5)) to be updated and reported as they occur, rather than on a six-monthly basis. It also contains a user-friendly search function, which can be used to easily identify specific locations within the CQCN.

We trust the users will enjoy exploring the new and improved Line Diagrams. We welcome any feedback you may have via email to networkregulation@aurizon.com.au.

Planning & Development

The Network Development Plan is Aurizon Network’s medium to long term planning document which sets out a range of options to increase the capacity of the CQCN.

The System Operating Parameters describe how the CQCN is modelled and the input parameters used to determine the capacity of the Network.

CQCN System Rules

The CQCN System Rules are a subsidiary document to the Access Undertaking, specifically Schedule G. They aim to provide transparency to Access Holders on the planning and scheduling decision making process and provide a framework for Aurizon Network to show capacity available across the entire CQCN.
