UT5 Draft Amending Access Undertaking

On 3 May 2019, Aurizon Network submitted to the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) for approval a Draft Amending Access Undertaking (UT5 DAAU) for the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN). The documents submitted by Aurizon Network are provided below.

 

UT5 Draft Access Undertaking

The QCA approved the UT5 draft access undertaking on 21 February 2019.

Aurizon Network submitted to the Queensland Competition Authority (QCA) on 30 November 2016 for approval its Draft Access Undertaking (UT5 Draft) for the Central Queensland Coal Network (CQCN).

The Undertaking is a critically important document for Aurizon Network as it guides negotiations with our customers, sets out how we must provide services and regulates the revenues we can earn from operating, maintaining and investing in the CQCN. This in turn supports economic development in Central Queensland and the competitiveness of Queensland’s coal industry in the global market.

Since the submission of the UT5 Draft, there has been significant regulatory activity, which is outlined on the QCA website. The documents Aurizon Network has submitted to the QCA in response to those regulatory activities is contained below.
