At Aurizon, we consider ourselves part of the local communities where we live and work. While we are working on repairing the impact of Cyclone Debbie to our operations in North and Central Queensland we also want to play our part in helping local communities recover and rebuild from this devastating weather event.
We would like to assist Queensland community groups and charities rebuild after Cyclone Debbie by establishing a special round of the Aurizon Community Giving Fund to distribute cash grants to help those in need.
If you are a charity or community group with DGR status in North QLD, Central QLD, South East QLD, who has been affected by the recent weather event, you could be eligible for a grant from $1,000 to $20,000 for a relief or rebuilding related project in any of the four areas of environment, education, community safety, and health and wellbeing.
