We are proud to welcome five Indigenous interns as part of our ten-year partnership with CareerTrackers, which connects Indigenous university students with employers through corporate internships.
The interns will work over the summer across the business in Finance, Engineering, IT, Brand & Communications and Human Resources.
Four of the interns – Patrick Olsen, Zach Kohler, Kiarna Broomhead and Issabella Laifoo, are new to Aurizon and we welcome back returning CareerTracker Tahlea Waia for her second placement with us.
Another CareerTracker returning to Aurizon from last year is Elizabeth Clifford, who will join our Graduate Program in the New Year. Elizabeth’s placement is a great example of how the CareerTrackers program is providing university students with employment opportunities and career progression.
We are excited to have the CareerTrackers interns on board and we look forward to supporting them in developing the skills and knowledge they need to successfully pursue their careers.
Our long-term partnership with CareerTrackers builds on our commitment to providing sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
