Asset Systems Leader
Location: Brisbane
At Aurizon, we're looking for an Asset Systems Leader to shape the future of our asset management systems across our above-rail fleet. This role will lead the development, optimisation and continuous evolution of our asset management systems, data and digital capabilities, ensuring we are positioned to leverage emerging technologies, predictive insights and modern maintenance practices to improve reliability, maintenance performance and whole-of-life asset outcomes.
This is a strategic leadership role where you'll influence the future direction of maintenance frameworks, asset information management, reliability initiatives and system innovation, enabling safe, efficient and cost-effective operations across the enterprise.
About the Role
Reporting to the Integration, Strategy & Reliability Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead the development and execution of the strategic asset systems roadmap for asset management, maintenance, operational performance and locomotive telemetry systems.
- Drive the integration of asset, maintenance and operational datasets to enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Identify and deploy emerging technologies, digital solutions and predictive capabilities to improve asset performance and reliability.
- Provide strategic leadership on asset information management, system architecture and data governance.
- Partner with operational, engineering and technology stakeholders to embed future-ready systems and ways of working.
- Lead the enterprise deployment and uplift of digital asset management capability across asset reliability, maintenance and operations.
- Drive the systems initiatives required to support Keystone, our enterprise wide asset management improvement program, and the ongoing evolution of Aurizon's asset management capability.
About You
You are a strategic and influential asset management professional with strong technical capability and a passion for improving maintenance performance through systems, data and process excellence.
You will bring:
- demonstrated experience in asset management, maintenance strategy, reliability engineering or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of maintenance systems, asset information management and data-driven decision making.
- Proven ability to lead strategic change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience working within asset intensive industries, resources or similar asset-intensive environments.
- A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
